You should read it.

Larry Doyle used to write for The Simpsons, you know, he's funny and all that. It reminds me of being back in High School and the awkward boys I used to know. Heck, I was awkward. If you really want to get into the "awkward high school mindset" while reading this book, I suggest putting on Kelly Clarkson's latest CD, drinking a real Dr. Pepper and eating some string cheese. This is the kind of book that has me laughing out loud on the train. It's great.

Ignore the fact that it's soon to be hitting the big screen and Hayden Panettiere plays Beth Cooper. I can't stand that cheerleader. Wait, it just occured to me she's a cheerleader on Hero's and a cheerleader in this book. Hayden needs to broaden her horizons.
